
Welcome to the Church Broughton village pantomime!
There has been a pantomime every winter in the village since the mid-1970s, a fine tradition which has seen different iterations, casts, crews and popularities since that time.
The Broughton Players (in association with Beercrate* Productions) have been responsible for putting on the show each year, which now takes place during the February half-term, with the very kind permission of the local primary school, whose facilities we use during their vacation.
(*”beercrate” because the earlier versions of the stage were supported by an array of vintage Marstons beer crates! The current stage, borrowed from the Church Broughton Park Committee, still employs a few at strategic points…)
